Fill the sink or basin with enough water to cover the plunger cup, block the overflow hole with a damp cloth, then pump firmly up and down 10–15 times before pulling the plunger away. Are all new toilets water saving toilet suites?

All toilets sold in Australia must carry a WELS (Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards) rating, and modern toilet suites are dual flush. We recommend choosing a suite with a 4-star WELS rating or higher, which uses an average of 3.5 litres per flush or less. Our plumbers can supply and install a water-saving toilet suite to suit your bathroom.

What do you do when servicing a tap?
